The entire collection

On the origin of my collection's propagation

Early in the summer of 2010, an avid young Slipknot fan decided to buy a Gas Mask in order to emulate his idol, the band's turntablist; Sid Wilson. Little did he know that this would lead him to discover a new way of life in the World of Gas Mask Collecting. One purchase quickly lead to another and the hobby quickly propagated itself. Since then the collection has expanded exponentially and this gathering of Gas Masks currently consists of over 50 pieces which come from all around the world and different time periods.

As the collection began to grow extensively I thought that it would be beneficial to have all of these masks along with their correlated information uploaded onto this website as there isn't substantial documentation of the Gas Mask collecting hobby online.  I also perceived that this online archive could be useful for both beginner and veteran collectors who would like to read up on the field and add more knowledge to their arsenal.
